Irene's Day at the Game

On August 15th, 2001, Irene Spell celebrated her 98th birthday by throwing out the first pitch at an Altoona Curve game.  Actually, Irene's birthday was two days later on the 17th, but who's counting?  

I don't have any still pictures of the actual pitch, because I was busy taking digital video of the proceedings.  You can see a video clip of Irene in action by clicking here.  You can also see Irene as she clowns around with Steamer, the Curve's mascot.
